Viva College閉校のお知らせ

本日2018年3月28日付けで、ブリスベンにキャンパスを構える、Viva collegeが閉校することになりました。
これにより、本日以降の入学・出願はもとより、授業が行なわれない旨が、留学生に伝えられています。
Please be advised Viva College Pty Ltd was placed into liquidation on 27 March 2018 and Tracy Knight and Damien Lau of Bentleys were appointed Liquidators.
All activities of Viva College have ceased and classes have been cancelled effective immediately.Please contact Tuition Protection Service (TPS) to either complete your studies with another education provider or receive a refund of your unexpended prepaid tuition fees

また、今回の閉校に伴い、本日の午後以降に学校より別途発表が行われ、TPSのWEBサイトでも随時情報が更新されるとのことです。
同校へ入学予定の生徒さんへ
オーストラリアの学生ビザ保持者は、TPS(生徒さんの学費を守る法律)が適用されていますので、今後返金または転校のサポートを受けることが出来ます。こちらは学校またはTPSから届く指示の下、一つ一つ手続きを進めていきましょう。
観光ビザ・ワーキングホリデービザにて通学されている方は、原則返金、転校等のサポートが受けられません。その為、すでに渡航前に、同校への入学手続き及び、入金手続きを終えている生徒さんは、早急に学校及び、ご利用された留学エージェントへご連絡ください。
すでに在籍中の生徒さんへ
今後の対応については、随時Viva CollegeやTPSより連絡があります。メールや電話による案内がありますので、特にメールについては見逃すことがないように、迷惑メールフォルダを含め確認してください。
また、同校へ通学中、現地就労(アルバイト)をされている生徒さんも多くいらっしゃると思いますが、まずは移民局に就労条件に変更がないか確認をしてみましょう。留学生のビザ発給条件によっても変わりますし、必ず移民局まで連絡頂くようお願いします。

TPSのWEBサイトにて、今後の対応についての案内が掲載されています。4月4日にViva Collegeのキャンパスにて説明会が開かれますので、すでにブリスベンに滞在されている方は、是非ご参加ください。また、該当するコース及び、First nameによってミーティングの時間帯が変わります。
Viva College Pty Ltd – Student Meetings
The Tuition Protection Service (TPS) will be holding student meetings for international students affected by the closure of Viva College Pty Ltd on Wednesday 4 April 2018 at the Viva College Campus:
90-112 Queen Street Mall, Level 2 Brisbane, Queensland, 4000
The TPS will be holding three meetings:
ELICOS (English Language Students) – 8:30am registration for a 9:30am meeting start
VET students with family names beginning with A-L – 11:30am registration for a 12:30pm meeting start
VET students with family names beginning with M-Z – 2:30pm registration for a 3:30pm meeting start
Each meeting is expected to take about 90 minutes.
Students will have the opportunity to meet with a small number of providers offering placement for students affected by the closure. Please ignore any unsolicited approaches from agents or providers before attending the student meeting.
